Business consultant Robert Kidder is set to become the new chairman of Chrysler Group when it emerges from bankruptcy. Kidder, 64, will replace Bob Nardelli, who was hired in 2007 after Daimler sold Chrysler to private equity group Cerberus. Reversing his profit forecast to a loss, Nissan Motor Co. CEO Carlos Ghosn entered crisis mode on Monday. Ghosn announced plans to slash 20,000 jobs, cut production by 20 percent, scale back model launches and delay new factories.
